Besichtigt werden weiterhin das Magazin und der Lesesaal. Hier erfahren die Teilnehmer, wie sie mit den Archivalien und den hilfreichen EDV-Systemen arbeiten, lernen und forschen können. Den Hauptteil der Führungen bestreiten die eingeladenen Experten. An fesselnden Themen herrscht dabei kein Mangel - die über 1200-jährige Vergangenheit Münsters birgt vielfältige Facetten.
Zwei Frauen und ein Mann stehen im Mittelpunkt der ersten Führung. Greta Bünichmann, Anna zur Steinhorst und Evert Heggemann wurde als Hexen und Zauberer in Münster der Prozess gemacht. Die Historikerin Sabine Alfing blendet auf den Umgang der Stadt mit diesen drei Menschen zurück; Kriminalakten und Ratsprotokokolle sind dabei aufschlussreiche Quellen. Verhöre, Bekenntnisse und Urteile zeigen bei der Führung den Leidensweg von unschuldig hingerichteten Personen der münsterschen Stadtgeschichte.
