-125g breadcrums from the day before
-1,5kg thin apple slices
-100g sugar
-100g raisins
-2 tsp of "Zimt" (what is Zimt in English
? Cyanide ? ..I think so...*g*...look it up,
I have no dictionary handy right now, sorry)
-40g almonds,sliced
Here's what you have to do with all that:
Note: If this is your first time, baking
an apfelstrudel, buy a book, that explains
how to deal with the dough !!!
ROTFL,sorry,I kid....
It's quite easy, actually....
Use flour, oil, salt, water to get a nice
soft dough, add some more water,if
necessary. Let rest for 30 minutes
(If you're very hungry...go to McDonald's
while you wait By the way,the
austrian people like having the name "McDonald's" in one of their greatest
"Mehlspeisen"-recipe.s) at a warm place ,
like the top of your computer
screen or a sunny meadow of chives.
Sift some flour on it and on the table
and use all your faith to roll it out very thin. But you have to go for
an even thinner dough, sorry: Use your hands to
spread out the dough some more. If
your table ,you're working on, has become
too small now: CONGRATULATIONS !
FROM NOW ON IT'S A PIECE OF PIE !
Add all the other things in your recipe
together to get your filling.
Use a cloth to roll your apfelstrudel
(hehe,I love saying that).
Preheat oven to 200° Celsius ,if
you like ,you can cover your apfelstrudel with
one stirred egg before baking.
Put it in the oven and wait 40 minutes.
Then get it out of the oven (This is
crucial !)
Then wait 20 minutes.
Then you can sift some powder sugar
on it, if you like...
Eat.
Watch
the apfelstrudel master !
