Description:
The file new-style-cursor.pcf.gz is an exchange for the standard X11-mouse-cursor.

Download:
You can download the cursor-font-file here

Installation:
% cp ./new-style-cursor.pcf.gz /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc
  (It's possible that this directory could be different on your system)
% cd /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc
% rm ./cursor.pcf.gz (or similar)
% mkfontdir
