Municipal library
Located beside the Krameramtshaus, former seat of the municipal library, the new building has been attracting bibliophiles and lovers of architecture alike since 1993. It was designed by the internationally renowned architectural office Bolles + Wilson from Münster (municipal library: Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.).
Our tip: A look behind the architecturally appealing building of the municipal library will also pay off. Thats because there is plenty of little details to discover on the sculpture Die Überfrau (The Superwoman) by Tom Otterness.
