Length: 960 km in total
The well signposted route of more than 960 km meanders through the Münsterland like a green ribbon. Over 100 moated castles, castles, Gräftenhöfe (moated aristocratic estates), and manors are passed on the way from "castle to castle".
The variable route network provide circuits for day trips and multiday hikes up to three-week bicycle touring holidays. Highlights include the tour of 210 km from Münster in the Ascheberg direction: Nordkirchen Castle, Vischering Castle, Lüdinghausen Castle, and Hülshoff Castle are but a few tourist features along this popular trail.
