Project description:

The mobile.package represents a service of the Münster Municipality with
the cooperating partners of the transportation sector, mentioned above, for
newly arrived citizens of Münster. Bundled information about the
subject-matter "mobility & transportation" are consolidated in a special
folder.
Components of the mobile.package are an informative booklet with different
trial coupons as well as survey maps. Every new citizen receives this
mobile.package on their registration at the citizen department of the
Municipality of Münster.
The booklet contains all substantial information on
- foot and bycicle traffic (with explanations of special features
like bicycle paths, bicycle locks etc.),
- bus and railway traffic (e.g. tickets available, association tariff,
explanations on bus and railway availabi-lity, group and call taxis),
- car traffic (e.g. residential parking, car-sharing, taxis, agency for
arranged lifts),
- airport Münster-Osnabrück (e.g. accessibility, parking
possibilities).
Furthermore the booklet explains specialties of Münster such as mobility
stations (functions, locations) or the mobility headquarters "mobilé"
(offering, opening hours, address).
The booklet caters for the concerns of handicapped people, designates contact
persons and information offices and contains an accessibility index of all
important institutions.
Presently the booklet is being updated for a new edition.
