Some beautiful scenes of Muenster – live and in colour. The images are continuously replaced. The view of the Prinzipalmarkt provided by the webcam also offers appealing images at night due to the sandstone facades and pergolas being illuminated.
The building with its Gothic gable originates from the middle of the 14th century. After being destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt true to the original in the 1950s.
The St. Lamberts Church is Muenster’s city and market church. The highest office in Town is the so-called “Türmerstube”, situated in the tower. The person being in charge (the “Türmer”) has been blowing his horn every hour (from 9 p.m., except for Tuesdays) for centuries.
This is the meeting place for recreation, sport and relaxation: Lake Aa is situated in the heart of the city with its vast green spaces. It was awarded the prize “Europe’s most beautiful park“ in 2009.
