Good to know

The majority of municipal institutions and offices are located in the three major "Stadthäuser" buildings.

• Stadthaus 1, Klemensstraße 10: central duties, including Local Public Office, School Office, Civil Registry Office, Münster Information Point, Lord Mayor’s Office
• Stadthaus 2, Ludgeriplatz 2 and neighbouring building on Hafenstraße 8: social duties, including Social Welfare Office, Municipal Housing Office, Foreigners’ Registration Office
• Stadthaus 3, Albersloher Weg 33: technical offices, including those for the fields of planning, building and environment

Opening hours: usually from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 12 pm and Thursdays from 3 pm to 6 pm; however, many offices and institutions are open all day from Monday to Thursday, and some are even open on Saturdays.
